Abstract
A deepening concerning the unstable nature of the system describing the dynamics of the human heart rate during long-duration treadmill/cycle-ergometer exercises is provided for a certain constraint on the model parameters. We show that subjects with such a constraint being satisfied can be still characterized by local stable behaviours as well as by a successful application of local heart rate regulating control laws. Experimental considerations are included.
